The Lee Universal Case Feeder

In my opinion, the best innovation Lee has made in the past few years. Here’s why and how to set it up.   Why… In the past you had to buy 3 different case feeders (or parts for them) to have a case feeder for small pistol cases, large pistol cases and rifle cases. This made buying a progressive and setting it up for different calibres expensive. Now not anymore as all new Pro1000 and Loadmaster presses ship with the new case feeder.   If you were to buy a Loadmaster in 223 and also set it up for 9mmp...

Is the new Olight I3T better than the S1 Baton?

One of the first products I stocked when I opened 480BC was the Olight S1 Baton. I saw reports of this light and thought it could just be the best EDC flashlight on the market, and almost 3 years later I still believed so.   Now my take on an Every Day Carry flashlight might be a bit different from yours. Orient the measure so that the holes for the bead chain will line up. Select your disk or drum...

The 480BC Lee Load Master setup guide – Part 2

So let’s get into completing the case feeder setup and dive into the die setup – a very important part that goes wrong a lot of the time.   Setup the case feed plate. Attach the case feed plate to the carrier using the hole next to the case slider. Adjust the bolts, so that there is a tiny gap (Lee reckons a penny thick) when you have a case in the case feed. Also adjust the alignment of the plate to the top of the press so that it does not interfere. Note: I am demonstrating the original case...

The 480BC Lee Load Master setup guide – Part 1

As you might know I am a big fan of the Lee Load Master. I have loaded +/- 40 000 rounds on my press and have set up quite a few for customers. Here is my guide to setting up a Load Master, it is going to be a long read but stick with it, you might pick up a trick or two…   RTFM! Before you get all excited and rush to assemble your press, read the instructions. Yes, I may do a few steps differently in this guide but reading the instructions is vital to understanding your new...
